WITRON is looking for a dedicated Benefits Specialist to lead the administration of our health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and leave programs. Be the driving force behind ensuring our employees receive the support they need while contributing to the success of our organization.
Pay Range $28.84- $36.05 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee health insurance, life insurance, disability, COBRA, ancillary benefits, and retirement plans.
- Act as the primary liaison with insurance carriers, benefits brokers, and HR team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth program administration.
- Manage claims for life insurance, disability, and leaves of absence using our third-party vendor. Provide recommendations for resolution and keep leadership informed.
- Plan and execute annual open enrollment, including creating communication materials, hosting information sessions, and assisting employees with elections.
- Ensure the accuracy of benefit enrollments, disability payments, and payroll deductions through regular audits and timely corrections. Reconcile monthly benefit billing.
- Organize events like financial wellness education, health screenings, and retirement plan meetings to enhance employee participation.
- Process medical support notices, maintain employee records, and prepare detailed reports on benefits utilization and costs.
