Corporate Quality Manager
Position Summary
Ambipar Response is seeking a dynamic Corporate Quality Manager to lead the charge in developing, implementing, and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS). In this role, you’ll spearhead our efforts to achieve ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, ensuring we meet the highest standards in quality, safety, and environmental management. We’re looking for a driven leader with a strong background in quality management, ideally within emergency response and industrial services contracting.

Essential Job Functions
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Develop and document quality policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor QMS performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
  • Drive efforts to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) certifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for external audits by certification bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements related to quality, safety, and environmental management.
  • Oversee quality control processes across projects, ensuring products and services meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and track resolution effectiveness.
  • Manage supplier quality by defining requirements, conducting audits, and monitoring performance.
  • Support quality initiatives related to emergency response operations and industrial services contracting.
  • Develop procedures for rapid mobilization while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with emergency response teams to ensure readiness for environmental or industrial incidents.
  • Provide training on QMS processes, ISO standards, and quality best practices to employees at all levels.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness throughout the organization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between senior management, customers, regulatory agencies, and certification bodies regarding quality matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, compliance, or a related role, preferably within industrial services, manufacturing, or emergency response sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, with experience in certification processes.
  • Proven experience conducting internal audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to quality, safety, and environmental management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience training employees on quality processes.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interface with senior management, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Preferred Job Requirements
  • Possess a valid U.S. passport or be willing to obtain one.
  • Bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred
Work Schedule
This candidate should be willing and available to work overtime as needed to meet project demands and deadlines, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
