Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires proficiency in working with schematics and low voltage systems, as well as the ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members. The Audio Visual Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality audio and visual experiences for our clients.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of AV systems.
- Perform field service tasks including on-site support for events and installations.
- Manage cabling for audio-visual setups while adhering to safety standards and low voltage regulations.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of AV technology into various environments.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly throughout the duration.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation (E & I) principles is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective telecommunication with clients and team members.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated on industry trends related to audio visual equipment.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.33 - $27.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
