What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wireless Technician position at WIVERSE?
This is a ME- Remote position, Positions is for central / northern Maine in the New England Market
Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc)
Familiar with:
- Ericsson cell site hardware-BB6630, BB6648, BB6651.
- Ericsson 6102, 6160, B160 cabinets
- Cell site routing – SAR-M SAS MXP, SAS
- Basic electrical with AC and DC power
Duties:
- Typical day starts with network triage and alarm assessments, completing cell site PMs, and resolving network outages
- Preferred background/prior work experience? Ericsson and Nokia HW, Fiber, and Ethernet
- Priority soft skills Communication, Time management, Problem solving
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience required.
- Responsible for staying current in technical theory, application, and operational discipline.
- Takes on technical and project-related efforts, providing communication as directed.
- The Technician has a solid understanding of theory and application related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul to sites, signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services, and location-based services.
- The Technician has a basic understanding of theory and application related to network design, capacity planning, power systems AC/DC, and grounding.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
