Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled workers in various construction tasks, maintain job site cleanliness, and ensure safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters and other skilled workers with construction projects.
- Load and unload building materials and move them to appropriate locations.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and repairing structures.
- Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
- Operate tools and machinery, including power drills, saws, and pneumatic hammers, as directed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Wage: The average hourly wage for a General Laborer in Nashville, TN, is approximately $17.20, with a typical range between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This role will range from $17-$22 per hour.
