Wixon, a growing and progressive manufacturer of custom flavor systems and food technologies, is seeking a Recruiter to focus on full cycle recruiting to fill available employment vacancies and support the staffing needs of the organization. The Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, screening, and sourcing candidates for internal job openings while also working to reduce the company’s reliance on external staffing agencies.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, and qualifications.
- Develops and implements recruitment programs, including budgets, job advertising, and collateral to attract applicants for specific openings.
- Builds and maintains a network of contacts, including schools, alumni groups, and public organizations, to source qualified candidates.
- Screens applications, interviews candidates, and provides detailed information about the organization and job openings.
- Coordinates job postings, writes offer letters, facilitates employee onboarding, and conducts New Employee Orientations.
- Organizes and participates in job fairs, community-based recruiting events, and public presentations to promote the organization.
- Utilizes job boards, social media, and other platforms for sourcing candidates and recommends improvements for recruiting strategies and platforms.
- Maintains accurate records of applicants, performs reference and background checks, and assists the HR team with various tasks as needed.
