Overview We are looking for a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a stand up forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach truck, stand-up, sit-down) to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
- Transport products to various locations within the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure operational safety
- Accurately record inventory movements in the warehouse management system
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping goals
Skills To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proven experience operating forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of forklifts
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory movements
