North Scottsdale law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney experienced in handling litigation relating to product defects, construction defects, premises liability, insurance, general tort, and related areas of practice. Must have excellent writing/legal analysis skills, be able to take and defend depositions, including expert depositions, and some trial experience is a plus (preparation, second chair, or lead).
Our firm consists of experienced Attorneys who litigate high-dollar cases throughout the Western United States. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance defense Attorney looking to make the career transition to plaintiff’s work.
Compensation - Dependent on experience and is comprised of a base salary and bonus.
In-office position with some remote.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
- Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Must be licensed to practice in AZ; additional consideration to those licensed in other western states including CA, WA, NM, UT, OR, CO, or NV
- Experienced Attorney 3-5 years (Required)
- Excellent writing/legal analysis
- Able to defend depositions, including expert depositions, and some trial experience is a plus (preparation, second chair, or lead)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and clients
