Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients
- Attend Meeting of Creditors for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13
- Attend Court hearings
- Communicate with clients
- Communicate with the courts
- Communicate with the trustees
- Follow up with clients for documents
- Review Petition and Schedules
- Analyze clients' financial situations
- Provide Solutions to Clients
- Prepare Motions and Briefs
- Must be organized
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be willing to seek self-improvement
- Must be willing to want a career in bankruptcy
- Successful completion of the bar exam
- Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients
