Responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions and assist them in deciding what to order
- Inform customer of order total, accept cash or card payment and return the correct change if needed
- Organize and clean the dining, service, and kitchen areas
- Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner
- Accept orders from customers, type them into the register, and send them to the kitchen staff
- Requires basic computer skills and the ability to use a cash register or POS system
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people is essential
- Basic math skills are needed to accurately take payments and count change
- Efficient time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Prefer some previous experience working as cashier
