Worcester RISE for Health is looking for a passionate and experienced Independently Licensed Mental Health clinician to provide traditional and non-traditional behavioral health services to newly arriving refugees and immigrants.

Responsibilities
- Assessment and Diagnosis Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' unique needs and challenges. Formulate accurate clinical diagnoses based on assessments and observations.
- Individualized Wellness Planning Develop individualized wellness plans tailored to clients' goals and strengths. Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable objectives for therapy.
- Evidence-Based Therapy Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients' mental health goals via individual and group (traditional and nontraditional) therapy. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, adapting approaches to meet clients' diverse needs.
- Crisis Intervention Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Collaboration and Communication Work collaboratively with colleagues, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. Maintain clear and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Continuous Professional Development Stay current with advancements in behavioral health research and treatment methodologies. Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
- Data Collection and Reporting Securely maintain thorough case documentation. Provide data and reporting to the Program Manager.
- State licensure or certification as an Independently Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician. (LICSW, PsyD, LMHC, LMFT).
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Must have 3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience working across multiple languages and cultures, particularly with refugees or immigrant populations with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience in providing therapy and counseling services to diverse populations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients with varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
