Responsibilities
- Client Advocacy Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, updates, and support throughout the pre-litigation process.
- Case Management Organize and oversee all aspects of client files, including medical records, bills, and settlement demands, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Insurance Coordination Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims and settlements.
- Medical Coordination Assist clients in scheduling and tracking medical treatments while verifying records and balances.
- Legal Support Prepare legal documents, settlement demand letters, and comprehensive demand packages in collaboration with attorneys and legal assistants.
- Team Collaboration Work closely with attorneys and the legal team to resolve issues, move cases forward efficiently, and maintain up-to-date case management systems.
- Problem Solving Address emerging issues promptly to ensure cases stay on track and clients receive the attention they deserve.
- Experience Minimum of 3 years managing personal injury cases before litigation is required.
- Education A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills and Expertise
- Proficient in legal processes and document handling.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a self-motivated work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable using software such as spreadsheets, word processors, and case management tools.
- Tech-savviness is highly advantageous.
