Sophos Speech and Academics is seeking an experienced educator who genuinely loves all students and has experience working with both the typical and the neurodivergent student population
Our ideal candidate could be full or part-time but is available between the hours of 10-6 pm, M- F. Instructors have the ability to make their own schedule and choose their own students.
Our ideal candidate is flexible, personable, knowledgeable, and relationship-focused.
This position will work closely with teachers and parents to craft instruction that best suits the individual needs of students. Ideally, this candidate will provide custom instruction in a one-on-one setting.
Compensation
$35 - $40 hourly (DOE)

Sophos Speech and Academics is a private institution that has been serving the valley since 2009. Sophos Academics is committed to providing superior, customized support to children and their families. We strive to understand and serve the child well, rather than forcing the patients/students into a pre-determined program. This allows our academic instructors to work closely with our speech therapists to meet the needs of each student best.

- Comfortable tutoring Spanish up to high school level
- Prepare for academic sessions
- Built rapport with the student
