Controller

This is a full-time on-site role for a Controller at WiZiX Technology Group, Inc located in Roseville, CA. The Controller will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, creating and overseeing accurate and timely financial statements, financial reporting and analysis, and managing financial risks.

WiZiX Controller Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP. Ensure a timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Cash Management: Manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity and oversee cash management processes.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales and use tax and property tax.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and efficiency improvements, and implement changes as needed.
• Oversight of Payroll: Work with outside payroll company to manage semi-monthly processing.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, providing financial expertise and insights to support strategic decision-making.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: 

• 5 years of experience as Controller or Financial Manager
• Degree in accounting.
• Experience with payroll and payroll taxes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Accounting Software applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Salary Range: $100,000-140,000K
