Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Needed NOW
Great Pay / Work When You Want
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) desperately needs CNAs to work 12-hour shifts 7 : 00 AM-7 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM-7 : 30 AM Sunday - Saturday.
You will work one on one with Research Participants / Patients.
You will maintain physical and emotional safety by always having the research participant / patient within sight and immediately reporting any concerns and needs to the assigned Certified Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities :
- Provide support using attentive listening, verbal validation, and simple and clear direction.
- Provide a safe environment for the patient and always remain in direct line of sight.
- Aid with all activities of daily living as needed.
- Engage the individual, as tolerated, in structured interactive activities that are enjoyable to provide psychological stimulation.
- Maintain a clean, dry, and clutter-free environment.
- Remove hazards in the room that may contribute to falls.
- Place all items in a position that allows a safe exit from the bed.
- Seek assistance when needed and ask questions without hesitation to ensure the best possible patient care and safety.
- Provide "hand off report" to staff for break times and end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
