Warehouse Management System Administrator

Job Responsibilities

System Maintenance:

• Monitor and maintain the performance of the WMS to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
• WMS migrations and implementations (planning, execution, and support)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the WMS, collaborating with IT and vendors as needed.
• Regularly update system configurations and parameters to meet changing business needs.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing inquiries and issues related to the WMS.
• Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
• 24/7 WMS uptime and usability

Implementation Support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements for warehouse management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and updates/upgrades to the WMS.
• Assist in the implementation of WMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and processes.
• (Pending) Conduct user training sessions to familiarize warehouse staff with system functionalities.
• Managing the rules process within the WMS. This could include understanding, setting, and creating rules.

Qualifications & Skills (Required):

• Strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills to work with both internal staff and external colleagues
• Implementing functions, system logic, algorithms, and workflows.
• Critical thinking and creative problem solving
• Familiarity with barcodes, scanning hardware and technologies
• Proficient in excel
• Google Workspace tools
• Bilingual preferred

Education and Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in either business management or computer engineering,
• At least 1 year experience within distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain
