As a Sanitation Supervisor you’ll be working in our Battle Creek Plant making it a safe, reliable and productive environment while supporting our production. Be part of history!! The Battle Creek plant was the first facility to manufacture the Corn Flake back in 1906 with 44 employees and was known as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Coordinating is Key – Adjusting and creating schedules for employees and contractors to prepare for the plant to be audit ready every day! You will evaluate facility sanitary conditions visually and analytically while prioritizing corrective actions in preparation for internal and third-party audits.
- Going the Distance - assuring cleaning procedures are maintained and updated and conducting plant wide and departmental mandated training.
- A People Person - Supervise Quality and MSS Cleaning Staff. Ensure Diversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards. Proactively engage in the development and training of associates and support such plans developed by plant leadership; you will interact with various personalities from union employees up to plant directors.
- Meeting the Schedule - planning cleaning schedules and proper allocation of resources (labor, supplies, equipment and time) while planning and executing for successful changeovers, sanitation weekends and daily activities.
- Detail Oriented - conducting daily inspections of tasks assigned to the union employees, good manufacturing practices, health checks, safety inspections and food safety audits.
- We know you can juggle… - you’ll be working on multiple projects while managing daily activities, but we know multitasking is a strength of yours. Ensure achievement of shift KPIs and Masterplan elements, Continuous Improvement Projects, Sanitation training for facility personnel. You will troubleshoot persistent sanitation issues to identify deficiencies in sanitation program or facility / equipment design. Recognize and escalate, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, or opportunities to improve plant performance.

Salary Range : $75,680.00 - $99,330.00 USD
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
