As a Temporary Student Support - Account Sales on the Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) team, you will be performing a mixture of administrative duties and ongoing project support work. Directly partnering with and supporting the Key Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to assist with contractual agreements, marketing selling material, and other promotional events with retail customers. Having an “owner’s mindset” paired with your initiative and curiosity will take you a long way! You will be encouraged to pursue opportunities to engage in a collaborative environment, sharpening your business acumen.
This position is a part-time Temporary Student Support (TSS) assignment that runs through April 2026 with the potential for an extension. Overall, this role averages 15 -20 hours per week during the school year and additional hours during the summer. Hours do not have to be consecutive; they can be spread throughout the week. This position is remote.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- The Daily Grind – You will work with a team of Account Executives to create and communicate innovation, and promotion plans to key retailers, meeting specific due dates to ensure on shelf placement and in store ad execution. Clear, detailed, and consistent communication is key!
- Collaboration is Key – In this role, you will be partnering with the Account Executive team and AWG contacts to organize, manage, and execute contractual and promotional retailer needs in a timely manner.
- Customer Systems / Reporting – You will be responsible for learning external customer portal for contractual inputs and internal documentation.
- Special Projects – Constructing selling material, compiling survey returns, and processing invoices / tracking invoices.
