Do you enjoy working with cross functional teams, in a fast paced, collaborative environment? As a VAS IBP Planner at our corporate headquarters, you will develop production plans for our VAS operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels on finished good items, while meeting customer service objectives. You’ll work cross functionally to solve for WIP and material bottlenecks and collaborate with multiple supply chain partners to drive results – It’s about having an owner’s mindset. This role will be specific for the WK Kellogg Co organization.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Set the Pace - Developing production schedules across assigned Kellogg VAS facilities in the US and Canada. This role will also manage Canadian VAS packaging materials.
- Fresh Thinking - Managing production & inventory to balance VAS operating objectives, while achieving on time and in full requirements for customers.
- Take a New Angle - Communicating exceptions and review remediation plans and alternatives with key stakeholders.
- Tools for Success - Maintaining planning system parameters (e.g., location of safety stock, economic production quantities, minimum run quantities, line capacity)
- Drive Efficiency - Monitoring the age of product to minimize write-offs and institute steps to remedy problems and performing capacity analyses
- Collaborate to Win - Providing timely updates and analysis to Supply Chain partners to identify risk and ops.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- Understanding of the supply/demand planning business drivers, organization structures and key metrics
- Proficiency working with SAP or similar database application technology
- Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Access or similar software
- Very strong communication skills are essential, and expertise in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation are also critical.
- High School diploma/GED with significant, relevant experience.
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor's Degree and consistently demonstrated related work experience.
- APICS Certification
- Experience working with Planning software, Manugistics, SAP/SNP or similar tools
Salary Range: $80,100 - $105,300
