Overview
The Director of Employee Benefits plays a critical role in shaping and enhancing the overall employee journey within our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that insurance benefits are being deducted and bills to are being paid timely. This position will also being assisting the VP of Operations with PBJ reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, with expertise in long term care . Our company is growing again- 20 long term care or assisted living facilities. In addition to that, we oversee our therapy group and a corporate office.
Duties
- Oversee benefits administration, including health, wellness, and retirement plans, ensuring employees are informed of their options.
- Collaborate with HR teams to streamline recruiting processes and enhance the onboarding experience for new hires.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Paycom to manage employee data effectively.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of employee health information management.
- Analyze data from employee experience metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and charges for insurances.
- Timely work with the VP of Operations on reporting PBJ hours/cost to internal and external sources.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
- Experience in benefits administration and compliance with HIPAA requirements is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical capabilities.
