Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for setting up and maintaining master data for all products throughout their lifecycle. This role supports teams across Innovation, Marketing, Purchasing, Planning, Production, Distribution, and Customer Service to ensure complete and accurate item data. The Supply Chain Analyst drives process improvements, new technologies, and effective data governance to enhance organizational efficiency and consumer satisfaction. In addition, the role will be a back up for supply planning internal manufacturing and third party manufacturing.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of Product, Vendor, and Site Master Data throughout its lifecycle from creation to discontinuation.
- Establish corporate standards for item data processing to ensure high data accuracy. Includes but is not limited to Item setup, BOM, and Routes.
- Develop effective validation methods/tools to verify Master Data is correct before and after Go-Live.
- Mentor Product Brand Leaders to enhance their skills and understanding of data governance.
- Continuously review and improve data governance policies to adapt to changing consumer needs, technology, and regulations.
- Perform as backup support within Supply Chain functional areas such as
- Internal production planning and scheduling
- Finished Goods 3 Party planning and procurement.
- Assess business processes and technology intersections, recommending innovative solutions for efficiency and problem resolution.
- Monitor metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of data governance and corporate initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong requirement that this person has experience with Microsoft D365 software in Item Master, BOM and Routing set up plus ECO and ERDOs
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, technical fields, business, or a related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- APICS certification preferred.
- At least five years of experience in Data Governance/Master Data with experience in retail, replenishment, procurement, or logistics.
- Strong technology aptitude and quick learning ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership, assertiveness, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive work environment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated project leadership and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic setting.
