The Brand Manager, works closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing in leading the development and implementation of the Bolthouse Farms marketing strategy that delivers annual and multi-year revenue targets and enhances brand equity in line with the Bolthouse Farms company vision. This person will work on projects that span the exciting breadth of CPG marketing, including but not limited to base business management, product lifecycle management, and marketing plan development and execution.
JOB DUTIES:
Consumer & Category expert: Partners with Insights to deeply understand category dynamics and consumer behaviors. Identify annual research needs in accordance with budget, striking the right balance between foundational research and initiative specific needs.- Product management and optimization: Identify areas for product improvement and/or cost improvement and execute with cross functional team with a hands-on approach from development to commercialization.
- Marketing: Manages the briefing & development of digital-first consumer communication plans in collaboration with agencies. Has experience refining brand positioning and brand purpose.
- Business Health & Analytics: Able to use syndicated, consumer and customer data to identify business insights and recommend solutions that optimize results. Developing monthly/quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc analysis.
- Channel/Customer Marketing: Understands the business at an account/channel level and collaborates with our Sales team to develop custom marketing programs to drive the business in those accounts/channels.

Managing up and across:
- Partners with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to sell-in and prioritize initiatives.
- Confidently present strategic, data-driven recommendations to SLT
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 3-5 years of brand management experience in CPG-managed businesses or similar relevant experience (food preferred)
- Understanding of how to read, interpret campaign results and make recommendations based on performance
- Track record of success leading both external agency partners and internal cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to translate insights into sound recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication and team working skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
