We are currently hiring for a Service Supervisor in Buffalo, NY.
Service Supervisor Job Summary
The Service Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the Service Department in Buffalo by facilitating incoming service requests, ensuring these are routed and opened appropriately, and helping to collaborate and organize the technicians.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee all service calls including project planning, material procurement, and manpower dispatching.
- Supervise the overall process for company asset inspections, personal development, and
employee relations. - Collaborate with the Senior Manager Service to assist with project quoting and project
management. - Provide technical support, customer service support, and analyze invoices for accuracy when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Service Team to increase overall efficiency and best-in-business practices.
- Forecast project necessities, schedule, and assist with Procurement of equipment for projects.
- Collaborate with Service Sales Technician to quote preventative maintenance contracts for customers.
- Complete intent to install.
- Oversee, schedule, and follow-up with preventative maintenance contracts.
- Calculate costs of goods and services performed.
- Issue purchase orders to technicians and follow the receipt process for purchase orders.
- Assist with the overall completion of the purchase order process.
- Collaborate with service technicians and supervisors to obtain work clarifications.
- Ensure completion and distribution of the on-call list.
- Assist with coordination of service for some departmental entities and submit reports when completed.
- Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards and department practices.
- Process service department credit card payments.
- Assist with other department tasks, as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Advanced with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
- Respected by peers and customers for their general working knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration and Plumbing.
Education and Experience
- High School/GED or at least two years of related experience.
- Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred or at least two years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems preferred but not required.

Non-Exempt, Full-time
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in a standard office
environment. - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Standard work hours: 7-3:30pm, M-F.
