Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds, including landscaping and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance.
Duties
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass and plants. Pressure washing and maintaining PVC property fencing. Staining decks on buildings.
- Engage in garden maintenance,, weeding, and watering to ensure vibrant flower beds and garden areas.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in grounds keeping activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operating lawn care equipment, i.e. riding mowers and tractor mowers, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
