Responsibilities and Expectations
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Respiratory Therapist to join our team at WMC Health Network. As a Senior Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing age-appropriate respiratory care to patients, operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment, and performing diagnostic procedures in accordance with established clinical procedures and safety protocols.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol prescriptions, and other interventions as required.
- Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure the proper functioning of respiratory therapy equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and complete required paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
- Completion of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License and BLS certification.
