Job Details : Internal Posting : 1 / 29 / 25 to 2 / 11 / 25 N2 position - Lactation Consultant / Charge NurseSummary : The Regional Perinatal Coordinator (RPC) willassist in providing for the management of patient care by means of clinical expertise gained in a specialized aspect of nursing care for the Peri-natal patient / department. Responsibilities will include : Manages the NYS RPC Grant and Contract : Coordinates with finance and provider groups for contracts and grantsCoordinate grant reports submissionsPrepare all grant invoices for sign offCoordinate grant and contract renewalsMaintain primary contract with the NYS grant staff; oversee all grant dataMeet deadlines for grant submissions and write quarterly reportsManage budget to grant parametersPerformance Improvement Identify and evaluate outcomes of RPC grant contractsWork with the VP for MFCH, Medical Leaders, Director of Quality and Safety on quality improvement activities for the RPCAssure that all appropriate parties have quality data and can speak tot eh outcomesOutreach Represent WMC Health to the PRC affiliates. Is the face of the RPCCoordinate and attend the quarterly meetings at each affiliateAssess affiliate programmatic and educational needs and help to meet affiliate needsAssess transfer and other data and recommend improvement activitiesAccept requests from affiliates for information and help and direct appropriatelyData Bases Supervise the RPC staff that input dataOversee the databases and data management of the RPCAdministrative Support and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, philosophy and mission of WMC HealthInterpret and implement policies and proceduresSupervise and direct staff and functions consistent with HR policies and grant requirementTraining andExperience : Must have a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience. License -Currentlicensure in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse. Certified in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
