Job Summary:
We are seeking a well-trained Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley (HAHV) in Kingston, NY. The ideal candidate will have a track record of clinical accomplishments in treating patients with serious mental illness, and provide emergency and consulting psychiatric services to adult patients in crisis, including triage, diagnostic evaluations, prescribing, and care transitions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Review patients' medication records to determine the appropriateness of their existing medication regimen.
Training/License:
Applicants must have a Master's degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry, and a valid New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner.
