Job Description Opportunity: Wright Memorial Physician's Group in Trenton, MO is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct. Shift Details: PRN Shifts could be Monday - Saturday Starting shifts vary between 7:15am-8:30am Closing shifts vary between 4:15pm-5:30pm Responsibilities: Answers the telephone Communicates messages through email or Epic Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments Collects patient copayments Makes appointment reminder calls Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including: medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
