A Sales Representative will assist customers with their purchasing needs through solution-oriented, innovative thinking, while upholding the company Mission Statement and contributing to the upward growth of the company.
Construction Admin Specialty Description
The Construction Admin role directly taps into your skills and abilities as a WMS Aquatics Sales Representative, lending itself to the Construction Department in a collaborative and supportive manner.
Your management and support team will ensure that you receive the unique training to be successful in this role, utilizing the custom software and resources available to you.
Standard Sales Duties
· Interact with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
· Consult with customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
· Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forward to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
· Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.
· Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
· Prepare estimates for new sales inquiries, ensuring to collect all necessary facility and contact information.
· Process all orders accurately and in their entirety.
· Conduct consistent follow-up protocols on all sales opportunities.
· Attend weekly Sales Department meetings.
· Strive to meet Sales Department gross revenue goals, contributing to the greater corporate goals.
· Collaborate with Operations and Sales team in the development and execution of marketing plans, ideas, or concepts.
· Participate in proactive, outbound, relationship-building Sales campaigns.
· Facilitate the cross-selling of all equipment and services represented by the company, while maintaining our solution-oriented values.
· Responsible for the proactive creation and conservation of customer relationships and the pursuance of opportunities for the Sales Department.

· Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Construction Admin Duties
· While conducting daily Sales Rep duties, seek and identify Construction Department opportunities and forward to Construction Management team, as required.
· Gather initial details from customer to pass along to Construction Management; assist in coordinating initial site visits, meetings, or phone calls to obtain further information for job Proposals.
· Meet with Construction Management to review take-offs and bid numbers; discuss exclusions, mark-ups, discounts, linear outlook, etc.
· Collect pricing, availability, and other relevant details for various equipment and materials needed.
· Using Estimator’s take-off, create official proposals with all supporting documentation, as needed.
· Email customers with formal bids and other relevant information.
· Complete follow-ups/check-ins on all Construction opportunities.
· Assist in determining appropriate timelines for project start dates.
· Coordinate with Construction Contracting personnel, providing insight and details, as needed.
· Facilitate consistent communication between customer and WMS Aquatics, aiding the Construction Management team, as needed.
· Issue Purchase Orders for equipment and materials, as instructed by Construction Management.
· Communicate and coordinate with Department of Health, as needed.
Required Skills & Abilities
· Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
· Robust time management skills.
· Keen attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage on a daily basis.
· Possess a high level of creativity, latitude, and critical thinking.
· Capacity to listen and identify/resolve issues.
· Thorough understanding of customer service standards.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, & Word; Outlook Email; Adobe Acrobat; and CRM software, with the ability to learn new software.
Education & Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience in team environment required.
· Sales and/or Aquatic Industry experience required.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods performing computer work, with a sit-to-stand desk.
· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
