CNC Operator 1st Shift

WMT Precision LLC, formerly Weaver Machine & Tool, has openings for CNC Lathe Operators. Successful candidates shall possess a minimum of 1 year CNC operating experience, good math skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude. WMT prides itself for quality and on time delivery, as well as a good work/life balance for our employees. For the right person, this position offers an opportunity to expand CNC knowledge and learn machine setup. We have an opening available on our 1st shift, 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday-Friday.

Job Responsibilities

• Respect other individuals and work as a team member.
• Operate CNC machines
• Display a willingness to learn and participate within the team
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Measure parts using various inspection equipment
• Follow instruction and report operational issues as needed
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Utilize available cycle time to contribute to deburr activity, machine care, and 5S
• Maintain associated documents to capture productivity and quality performance
• Change machine offsets as needed to make good parts
• Monitor and change out tooling as needed
• Operate more than one machine at a time when skill level and cycle time allows
• Maintain and refill machine fluids as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
