About the Role -We have one opening for a teacher in our Developmental Day classroom.
Responsibilities -
- Plan and implement learning experiences for children aged 3 to 5 years old
- Support the individual needs of exceptional children
- Address skill areas of self-help, physical growth, language and speech, and cognitive and psychosocial skills
- Ensure equal access for children with disabilities in a supportive environment
- Build positive and nurturing relationships with children, families, and staff
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field
- Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education
- Hold an Initial or Continuing Professional B-K License or NC Professional Educator’s License with a Provisional B-K or Preschool Add-on License issued from the Department of Public Instruction
Preferred Skills
- Two years of teaching experience with children 3 to 5 years old with diagnosed or suspected disabilities
Pay range and compensation package -$56,000/Year
