The Role: Developmental Day Classroom Teacher
We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team in the Developmental Day classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging learning experiences for children aged 3 to 5 years old with diagnosed or suspected disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized learning plans that cater to each child's unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with families and staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment
- Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education
- Initial or Continuing Professional B-K License or NC Professional Educator's License with a Provisional B-K or Preschool Add-on License issued from the Department of Public Instruction
- Two years of teaching experience with children 3 to 5 years old with diagnosed or suspected disabilities
