The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Western New England University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences. The position is a 12-month tenure-track appointment that offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing graduate program consisting of two M.S. degrees: Pharmacogenomics and Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as an integrated and innovative learner-centered in person and distance PharmD program.
The successful candidate will be able to teach broadly within the area of Pharmacogenomics and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Applicants with laboratory and/or clinical experience implementing pharmacogenomics are especially encouraged to apply.
A doctorate in a pharmaceutical science or a clinical degree (M.D., PharmD, or related field) with expertise in pharmacogenomics is required. Prior experience as a faculty member in higher education, and/or a post-doctoral fellowship is desirable. The successful candidate will also be expected to pursue research and scholarly activity along with appropriate service to the College, University, and the community.
