Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Property and Casualty Insurance process to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients over the phone.
Duties
Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM Shift
Location - Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Core Responsibilities:
- Receive Inbound calls assist Agency and Insurers with their queries related to the policy.
- No Sales
- Demonstrates awareness of company policies and procedures while applying sound judgment within scope of their empowerment and follows guidelines.
- Educates and promotes Self Service options.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, structured, dynamic and high-transaction environment, with the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and manage and diffuse angry or upset customers.
- Capable of achieving call center performance metrics and targets.
- Able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Works independently and seeks Supervisor support when necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years in a customer support role, preferably in a call center or customer service environment required
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
