Responsibilities:
Activities include, operating gamma imaging systems, portable gamma assay detector logistics, operating high purity germanium detectors, data acquisition, data reduction, and other activities related to NDA Technician in both field and laboratory environments.
Qualifications: Employment is contingent on background screening, drug screening, beryllium testing (BeLPT), 40hr HAZWOPER, and physical. Individuals are required to meet the requirements in C1490 – 04 Standard Guide for the Selection, Training and Qualification of Nondestructive Assay (NDA) Personnel for Qualified Instrument Operator or NDA Technical Specialist. NDA Technician I requirements are High school diploma and two years nuclear facility experience, NDA Technician II requires B.S. degree and one year of direct NDA experience or high school diploma and five years direct NDA experience.
Salary : $40 - $65
