Starting pay: $14.00-$16.00
Summary:
Under the direction of the Hotel Manager, oversee the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and other Hotel operations. Provide warm personalized service, while demonstrating leadership and teamwork to all Team Members. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed in order to uphold Company standards.
-Directly supervise the hotel team. Oversee the activities of all hotel team members in order to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures.
-Review department schedules for accuracy and staffing demands.
-Provide assistance as directed by the Hotel Manager in conducting all department meetings and training.
-Engage in the coaching of team members for recognition, improvement, and development. This requires one-on-one interaction as well as the enabling and overseeing the team members’ use of training modules and learning resources on Choice University.
-Maintain documentation regarding room registration, changes, charges, credit card transactions, guest service and maintenance issues, and coaching and development of team members. Complete reports as directed by Hotel Manager.
-Review and validate vendor invoices as directed by the Hotel Manager.
-Participate in the administration of the Hotel payroll as directed by the Hotel Manager.
-Offer guest assistance whenever possible. Answer questions pertaining to hotel policies, sales, and services.
-Responsible for solving escalated guest service issues. Appropriately address guest requests to ensure guests are satisfied with the Company’s services and accommodations. Maintain good communication and involve management and other resources as needed to assure guest satisfaction effectively.
-Ensure systems and procedures are in place and followed to ensure guest safety and security.
-Keep lines of communication open. Contact Manager of any problems.
-Fill in for vacant shifts as needed.
-Responsible for Redbook and the attendance tracker for front desk.
-Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the Hotel Manager.
