We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wet Utility Field Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising field operations, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety regulations. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage resources, schedules, and budgets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Duties
- Supervise daily field operations and coordinate with project managers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Utilize software for project management and budgeting tasks.
- Review and interpret schematics to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and communication on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare reports on project status, including budget updates and timelines for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as HCSS, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes related to construction projects.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction practices is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and OSHA safety standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
