Wohali is a fast-growing real estate development and private ultra-luxury community in its start-up phase comprising of our own construction team and the imminent introduction of our resort services. We are currently seeking a Apprentice Electrician to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
An apprentice electrician will learn the trade of electrical installation by assisting a journeyman electrician, performing tasks like wiring, installing fixtures, troubleshooting basic electrical issues, reading blueprints, and utilizing various tools under close supervision, while gaining the necessary skills to eventually become a fully licensed electrician.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman electricians: Primarily work alongside experienced electricians, following their instructions to learn proper techniques for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
- Basic wiring tasks: Run electrical wires through conduits, connect wires to fixtures, and perform basic wiring configurations. Blueprint reading: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project layouts and wiring plans.
- Tool usage: Become familiar with various hand and power tools used in electrical work, including wire strippers, crimpers, drills, and cable cutters.
- Material handling: Prepare and organize materials needed for electrical projects, including cables, conduit, and fixtures. Troubleshooting basics: Assist in identifying and diagnosing simple electrical problems under guidance.
- Safety compliance: Adhere to all electrical safety codes and regulations while working on the job site.
- Cleaning and organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area.
