What Wohali is looking for:
As a Server, you will follow the F&B sequence of service, maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude. You will have knowledge of food trends, wine, and spirits, and ensure guests are satisfied with their meals. Responsibilities include delivering food and beverages, processing payments, and guiding guests through their experience. You will also maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness, and follow all safety and health standards. Effective communication with management and staff is key to resolving guest needs. Always maintain a positive, respectful attitude and be willing to assist in other tasks as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of traditional fine dining service techniques and high standards of customer care.
- Complete all side work before and after each shift to support smooth operations.
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times.
- Punctuality and professional grooming are essential.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented attitude in all interactions.
- Follow supervisor and manager directives to ensure efficient service.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests, ensuring satisfaction with the quality of the meal, and follow up regarding any issues.
- Adhere strictly to Utah DABS rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ensure guests are not overserved, adhering to Utah’s alcohol regulations.
- Be flexible and ready to participate in additional duties as needed to support the team.

What you bring:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- 3 years of serving experience preferred.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Working knowledge of bartending terminology.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize member requests effectively.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Utah Alcohol Certification.
- Food Handler’s Permit required.
Education and Experience:
- High Scholl diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours or more per-shift).
- Manual dexterity to carry trays, handle menus, utensils, and service tools.
- Strength and stamina to lift and carry heavy trays or items (up to 25–50 lbs., depending on the establishment).
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to serve food, refill drinks, and clean tables.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent customer service.
- Tolerate varying temperatures (working near hot stoves, ovens, and climate-controlled dining areas).
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and carry multiple plates, trays, or drinks at once.
- Good posture and ability to move quickly in tight spaces to efficiently navigate the restaurant floor.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members in a busy environment.
