What Wohali is looking for:
The Warehouse Labor is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment while efficiently handling inventory and deliveries as part of the Logisitics team. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with vendors, assisting with monthly inventory counts, transporting supplies, and ensuring accurate food delivery updates to the Manor.
This position is seasonal from May to September, applicants must be able to work at various dates and times.
We have full-time and part-time positions available.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensuring cleanliness of logistics center and office space and safety of work environment
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Accepting delivery and inventory
- Counting and confirming inventory
- Inspecting inventory for damage or faults
- Communication with vendors
- Storing all inventory in appropriate locations
- Food Rotation in dry storage, coolers and freezer
- Moving and transporting china, glass, silverware upon request to and from Manor
- Assist with monthly inventory of all Logistics warehouse inventory
- Update inventory in excel and Microsoft
- Moving banquet tables, chairs in the box truck
- Updating food delivery requests daily to the Manor
What you bring:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be 21 years of age and older
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that is in good standing
- Must be comfortable entering coolers and freezer at temperatures between 39 – minus 1 degree. Jacket provided to enter space
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft word
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision and work with a team
Education and Experience:
- Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift, carry, and move items weighing at least 40 lbs. regularly.
- Requires frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing to access materials and equipment.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination for handling, sorting, and organizing inventory efficiently.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, often 8-12 hours per-shift.
- Comfortable working in various climatic conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
- Unafraid of working on ladders, elevated platforms, or mezzanine storage areas when necessary.
- Capable of maintaining productivity in a high-demand logistics setting with time-sensitive tasks.
