We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your hospitality skills will be essential in managing guest relations and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage wait list and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Monitor the dining area for guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
Skills
- Strong hospitality background with a passion for helping others.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create a positive dining experience.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems for managing wait list and orders is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
