Since 2023, the Company has prioritized institutional—specifically healthcare—as a strategic and permanent growth initiative. We have hired sales personnel with decades of experience in this vertical market and we have invested in products that meet the performance and aesthetic requirements of healthcare interiors. Our marketing efforts have ranged from full scale digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, comprehensive sales tools tailored to institutional, paid digital advertising and participation in/sponsorship of healthcare design industry events.
About Your Role with the Marketing Team
Put plainly, your challenge will be to help us optimize our healthcare and education design marketing initiatives and make a greater impact on our customers with engaging content. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, ready to roll up their sleeves, take what we already do well, and make it even better.
Structurally in this role, you will be a member of the Creative Team, made up of our marketing and product design experts, and led by our Chief Creative Officer. You will regularly interact with our digital marketing team, Wolf-Gordon Design Studio and technical team, as well as our institutional sales managers and account executives. How You Will Make a Difference
As Wolf-Gordon’s Institutional Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Develop healthcare focused content as a whole and to meet strategic goals in sub-markets such as Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, and Behavioral Health;
- Produce engaging copy and recommend imagery across print and online platforms;
- Research evolving trends and subjects of concern to healthcare designers and architects;
- Keep abreast of competitor products and performance attributes;
- Attend healthcare design and education design industry events and report back on what you experience and observe;
- Be the primary liaison between institutional sales personnel and the Creative Department;
- Promote the Wolf-Gordon brand with consistency across various channels.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll focus on marketing projects, including content creation, imagery selection, and project management. Here are some of the core responsibilities, but we’re also interested in seeing what strengths you can add to our team.
- Propose marketing campaigns and sales tools to enhance the healthcare and education design specifier journey and boost engagement.
- Produce captivating content, including product descriptions, news articles, emails, and social media posts.
- Review and edit existing materials in alignment with the established style guide.
- Write case studies that document real installations in the field.
- Contribute ideas to our public relations consultants.
- Quality control product information, imagery, and downloadable documents on our website.
- Provide content and assets for our website and on various platforms for use by our account executives.
- Carry out special projects as needed to unlock new opportunities.
- Report to the Chief Creative Officer.
Experience & Qualifications
- We are seeking an experienced healthcare design marketing professional who can assume responsibility for proposing strategies, messaging and tools, as well as acting as an essential liaison to this market.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with a proven track record in crafting successful healthcare (and education) design marketing communications.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), proofreading, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous project management and experience coordinating complex projects with multiple participants.
- Upbeat outlook and ability to get along with a wide range of personality types, from designers to salespeople.
- Strong interest in interior and architectural design, and a healthcare design mission that prioritizes design, as well as product performance, as a way to help healing.

Location: NY Metro Area Based
Wolf-Gordon headquarters is in NYC’s Fashion District; however, our workforce is located throughout the New York tri-state area. Like the rest of our design and marketing team, you will have a hybrid schedule of 1–2 days in the office and 3-4 days working remotely. Every Wednesday, the creative team meets in the office to review upcoming product campaigns and collaborate in person with each other and our Chief Creative Officer (CCO).
The second Tuesday of every month is the full NYC staff office day, in office presence is required of all employees.
