Grader Operator

Wolf Paving Co, Inc. is a family owned asphalt manufacturer and paving contractor. We currently have 2 locations operating in southern Wisconsin. Essential Functions:

• Having working knowledge of excavation equipment such as skid steer and mid size grader, compactor, and roller
• Self motivated, with high energy level and positive attitude.
• Must have expert or journeyman quality skills on skid steer and or mid-size grader.
• Willing to learn how to operate a laser level to obtain proper drainage and slope.
• Document any base issues or contact Foreman or Project Manager
• Consult with grade foreman or Project Manager prior, during and after job to ensure proper excavated areas are addressed and completed.
• Properly maintain your equipment daily (check oil, grease, check for leaks, etc.)
• Hand work around edges and corners will be expected.
• Assist in training Grade Tech I to help learn trade
• Drive any type of truck with any trailer including low-boy
• Crosstrain on paving crew when needed
• General Clean up of jobsite
• Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
• Must practice safety procedures at all times
• Wisconsin driver’s license and class A CDL mandatory or able to obtain one from date of hire
• Receive a Tanker Endorsement
• Good driving record for the past 3 years per NDR
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.
• The ability to read and understand blue prints.
• Must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years experience.

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
