We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience with various diesel engine components, ensuring optimal performance and safety of our fleet.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire service.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as shocks, struts, and electrical components.
- Utilize schematics to understand complex systems and perform repairs accurately.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required to facilitate repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on diesel engines preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting as needed in the course of repairs.
