What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Artist for Children's Theatre position at Wolf Performing Arts Center?
Wolf Performing Arts Center is seeking experienced Teaching Artists for the Artist in Residence Program.
Availability during the after school hours of 3:15-5pm is essential, as we are hiring immediately for our after school Theatre Club program. These clubs primarily take place in local elementary schools in Montgomery and Delaware counties.
Qualified applicants should have theatrical background as well as interest and experience teaching students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background Check, and FBI Fingerprinting required.

We are searching for teaching artists with one or more of the following skill sets:
- Flexibility, creativity, and willingness to mentor young people (preschool, pre-k, elementary age students)
- Experience working with students in preschool through fifth grade
- Background in acting, dancing, and singing or at least one of those disciplines
- Willingness to travel to Bryn Mawr and/or surrounding suburban areas
Our after school clubs and daytime enrichment programs take place primarily in local elementary schools in Montgomery and Delaware counties.
Availability in late afternoon, evening, and/or weekends

Pay at $40/hour.
