Job Overview
Wolf Pumps is seeking a Territory Sales Manager focused on Texas and the surrounding territory, utilizing their home (in Texas) for office time. Industry knowledge is a plus, a strong sales background has been very successful within Wolf through our development and training, regardless of past water industry experience. Location can be within Texas. Salary is commensurate with experience. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and discuss experience related to this position.
The Territory Sales Manager will grow and manage sales within their defined territory. This position works from their home within the Texas sales area to support their sales planning and customer calls and typically has travel requirements of 3 to 4 days a week to be in front of their customer base. Not excessive, but some weekend work covering customer events will occur. Responsibilities will include implementation of sales programs and policies, communication, and managing distributors, OEM accounts, and others to ensure sales goals and overall company objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Determine and provide consistent sales and marketing procedures and programs consistent with company goals and objectives.
- Identify, Develop, and Retain New Target customers.
- Develop and maintain accounts with tasks including managing field warranties, communication of pricing, attending open houses, and training support of our customers.
- Planning and managing one or two-year Sales and Marketing Plan to grow territory business. Provide annual and monthly sales forecasting; manage their defined expense budgets.
- Provide documentation call reports for all travel events
- Must possess good hands-on ability and be technically oriented.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years of sales and customer service experience required.
- Pump industry experience is preferred.
- Exhibit a strong organized ability to be self-driven, working independently, but utilizing our support as needed to be successful.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be willing and able to travel 60% of the time.
