DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Theatrical Technician assist in the following:
- Load in and setup theaters Audio system prior to season
- Load in and setup of Artist equipment and performance elements
- Take down and load out of Artist Equipment and performance elements
- Setup and take down of all theatrical equipment, stage sets, props and audio
- Maintain the Stage in a neat and orderly condition
- Ensure that all equipment is in good and proper working condition
- Keep inventory of theatrical expendable inventories, such as, Gaff Tape, Glue, power/hand tools, etc.
- Load out and return the theaters audio system at the end of the season
- Serve as A2 and stage technician for all performances
- Work with National Park Service employees to ensure a high-quality presentation of the performances
- Report maintenance related issues or damage of any theatrical equipment to the Theatrical Technician in a timely manner
- If requested by the Theatrical Technician, operate Front of House Mixing consoles on a limited basis
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have basic working knowledge of mixing live performances
- Must have basic working knowledge of stage directions, setting up and pinning the stage, and troubleshooting audio systems
- Must have basic working knowledge of digital consoles and audio best practices
- Ability to read stage plots and audio input lists
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Must be able to work early mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must possess a valid US state issued drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move quickly, and stand for long periods of time.
