Job Description
We are seeking a Supervisor of Imaging, Multi-Modality to join our team in Miami! This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee imaging operations while ensuring top-quality patient care.

⏳ Schedule: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the multi-modality imaging department, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound
- Manage and coordinate staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, Joint Commission, and state/federal regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality imaging services
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and conducting regular performance reviews
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage department budget, including equipment maintenance, supplies, and staffing costs
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety
- Implement and oversee quality assurance and improvement programs
- Provide leadership in the adoption of new imaging technologies and techniques
- Ensure proper patient education and preparation for imaging procedures
- Handle patient complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and committees as required
- Conduct regular staff meetings to address departmental issues and promote team cohesion
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in medical imaging
Qualifications
Requirements:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (Master's degree preferred)
✔ ARRT Certification (or equivalent) in multiple modalities, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound
✔ Florida State Licensure in Radiologic Technology
✔ BLS Certification
✔ Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical imaging, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
✔ Proven leadership and management skills
✔ Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission, and state/federal regulations
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Proficiency in medical imaging software and PACS systems
✔ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
✔ Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and process improvement
✔ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Advanced certification in imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, or Mammography)
✔ Experience with budgeting and financial management
✔ Knowledge of lean management principles
✔ Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
✔ Experience in staff training and development
