Job Description
We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Wolfe Fort Benton, Montana. As a crucial part of the customer experience, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, provide accurate repair recommendations, and complete repairs to satisfy our valued customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them efficiently
- Inspect motor vehicles in operation, road test, and test automotive systems and components
- Diagnose malfunctions using inspecting and testing tools such as motor analyzers, handheld computers, and chassis charts
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of light to medium duty vehicles
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Estimate parts and labor costs
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Ford and/or GM Dealership Experience Required
- ACE Certification Preferred
- Diesel and transmission repair experience preferred
- Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
