Facilities Associate

Daily Responsibilities:

• Pantry supply restocking (cups, plastic cutlery, paper products, etc.)
• Printer maintenance (paper, toner replacement, paper jams)
• Conduct safety and facilities patrols: making sure doors are closed and locked as required, check for new maintenance needs, etc.
• Managing requests for temporary desks from satellite employees

Weekly Responsibilities:

• Stocking the soda machine
• Deep clean of two coffee machines

As Needed:

• Desk setups and relocations (New hires, terminations, intraoffice moves, temporary visitor desks). This involves setting up the PC and its peripherals, phone, headset, etc, and wire management
• Event furniture and equipment staging and staffing (as needed). This includes reconfiguring chairs and tables for requirements of the event
• AV system testing and operation in conference rooms and event center
• Minor repairs/maintenance, touch ups and minor cleaning
• Liaison with building management and vendors for service requests
• Serving as backup coverage for the NY office receptionist

Schedule:

• 7am to 5pm, 5 days a week in the office
• Occasional evening hours as required for in office events, but the day’s start time will be adjusted accordingly
• Occasional travel required, with possible overnight, to service the needs of satellite offices

Requirements:

• Candidate be reliable and have a strong work ethic
• Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Candidate must be handy with light tools
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively 
• Prior experience in a maintenance or technology role a plus
• Candidate expected to join the company’s Emergency Action Team

The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of $60,000-$70,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location. In addition, we offer an annual discretionary incentive bonus and competitive employee benefits including: medical, dental and vision coverage; life, accident and disability insurance.
